GXG is a fast-growing agency at a high-growth tech company, seeking a Digital Marketing Content Manager for a government agency. This role partners with multiple internal Agency teams to deliver high-quality, engaging digitalcontent including social media, graphics, and video production, that supports the Agency’s communications and stakeholder engagement objectives. The Digital Marketing Content Managerleads the agency’s social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, and YouTube, developing creative campaigns, monitoring trends, and ensuring a consistent agency brand voice. This role also supports with the creation of external marketing materials—web pages, program and event descriptions, fact sheets, and stakeholder toolkits—while also writing and editing content for internal agency communications.
Strong candidates will have a proven track record of managing multiple project timelines, technical systems, and calendars and supporting multiple internal stakeholder groups for clients, preferably for government. Candidates must have a desire to be part of a data-driven, client-focused, fast-paced team that loves the mission of providing world-class service to government clients.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Superior oral and written communications skills required.
• Proven success in developing and managing social media on behalf of an organization.
• Experience drafting web copy and marketing collateral.
• Experience with CMS and email management systems, and comfort with learning new technology platforms required.
• Support with national digital content pushes including digital ads, microsites, and
content launches.
• Develop and update reporting systems to track digital program efforts.
• Occasionally help produce video content for social media and broadcast engagements.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to coordinate complex content development and approval processes required.
• Experience using and referring to style guidelines and comfortable making agency-wide stylistic recommendations required.
• Strong multitasking and project management skills and demonstrated abilities to handle multiple projects at a time and tight deadlines required.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team required
Experience:
• 5 years working with social media.
• 5 + years of experience as a copywriter or communications professional required.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, business, public policy, economics, or a related field.
• Experience working with content creators and/or non-traditional media a plus
• Proficiency in graphic design, photography, and audio/video editing a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with disciplined prioritization.
• High emotional intelligence, judgment, professionalism, and discretion.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating strong personal initiative and on-time delivery of project tasks and deliverables.
• Maintain awareness and understanding of government news, as well as digital communications and industry developments that apply to the position and responsibilities.
• Be hungry and passionate, have a collaborative spirit and be committed to making a difference with communications and collaboration

• This role will be performed onsite as the customer offices in Northern Virginia, and/or Washington, DC.
• The candidate will be required to obtain a confidential security clearance, with sponsorship from the customer agency.
