Job Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative software solutions. You’ll operate with a high level of autonomy, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor junior team members. This role emphasizes technical leadership, strategic thinking, and delivering impactful solutions in a collaborative Agile environment.

What Your Impact Will Look Like

  • Architect and implement scalable, secure, and performant software systems.
  • Lead development of complex features and components across the full stack.
  • Guide and mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews and technical coaching.
  • Drive architectural discussions and lead process improvements across teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Product, DevOps) to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Champion Agile/Scrum practices and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Optimize CI/CD pipelines and development workflows for efficiency and reliability.
  • Actively explore and strategically integrate cutting-edge technologies, driving continuous innovation and maintaining our technological competitive edge.
  • Ensure application security, performance optimization, and maintainability.

You Will Love This Job If You Have

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven leadership in technical projects and mentoring teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., C#, Visual Basis, JavaScript).
  • Deep understanding of web development frameworks and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Expertise in SQL databases, data modeling, and query optimization.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD environments, and DevOps practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and deliver high-quality solutions under tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and innovation.
  • Familarity with AI tools that support development (e.g. Github Copilot or similar)
  • Candidates must be currently located and authorized to work in Puerto Rico.
