The role is designed for a former management consultant who has moved into or is looking to move into an operating role and wants to lead AI-enabled transformation inside a scaled SaaS business. You will work directly with senior leaders across Sales, Customer Success, Support, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations.

You will partner closely with the internal AI Engineering team. You will also lead a small team of high-caliber analysts, helping them structure work, develop recommendations, and execute transformation initiatives across the company.

What Your Impact Will Look Like

  • Lead AI transformation workstreams across functions
  • Partner with senior executives to identify, size, prioritize, and execute AI-enabled opportunities that improve productivity, revenue growth, customer experience, quality, cycle time, and operating leverage
  • Lead a small team of analysts / internal consultants, providing coaching, problem-structuring support, analytical guidance, and day-to-day workstream leadership
  • Understand how work actually gets done, including systems, handoffs, judgment points, bottlenecks, and manual work
  • Translate ambiguous business problems into clear opportunity assessments, business cases, workflow designs, requirements, success metrics, and implementation plans
  • Partner with AI Engineering to design, pilot, and scale AI-powered workflows
  • Serve as a translator between business and technical teams, ensuring AI use cases are feasible, valuable, adopted, and tied to measurable business outcomes
  • Own value realization by defining KPIs, tracking impact, and communicating outcomes
  • Build executive- and board-ready materials that synthesize findings, frame decisions, and communicate progress
  • Partner with Legal, Security, IT, and Engineering to ensure AI-enabled workflows meet governance, risk, and compliance requirements

You Will Love This Job If You Have

  • 7+ years of experience, including 3+ years in management consulting and ideally experience in an operating role at a technology company
  • Strong preference for candidates who began their career in management consulting or a similarly rigorous problem-solving environment

  • Strong structured problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; comfortable building business cases, capacity models, defining KPIs, and measuring business impact

  • Strong executive communication skills; ability to create clear, decision-oriented materials for senior operators and board members
  • Candidates should bring a consulting-style problem-solving toolkit and the ability to drive work from ambiguous problem definition through implementation and measurement
