Senior Business Systems Analyst

Summary Description

We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to design, standardize, and support system interoperability across core business platforms. This role will partner closely with internal stakeholders to understand business processes, define integration requirements, and architect solutions that improve data flow, automation, and operational efficiency across the organization.

The ideal candidate will design integration patterns, oversee integration development work (using platforms such as Workato, MuleSoft, or similar tools), support testing and deployment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure integrations align with business needs and scaling requirements. This role requires strong business understanding, the ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders and leadership, and practical experience building integrations in SaaS environments.

Essential Function

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

· Designs, builds, and maintains integrations across core business systems (Workato, MuleSoft, Salesforce, NetSuite, Wrike, etc.) to support strategic business operations.

· Works closely with internal stakeholders and project teams to deeply understand business processes, define integration requirements, and translate needs into scalable technical solutions.

· Applies deep business knowledge to identify automation opportunities, process gaps, and system improvements that drive efficiency and reduce manual effort across teams.

· Communicates status, risks, and recommendations to leadership clearly and proactively; ensures alignment and transparency during delivery of integration initiatives.

· Establishes and refines integration best practices, standards, and reusable patterns to enable consistency and long-term maintainability.

· Troubleshoots complex integration issues, identifies root causes, and implements durable, scalable solutions instead of temporary fixes.

· Leads high complexity integration projects from design through deployment, partnering cross-functionally to ensure successful execution.

Experience/Credentials:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field — or equivalent practical experience.

· 5 years experience in integrations, automation development, or similar technical role.

· Hands-on experience building and maintaining integrations using Workato, MuleSoft, Zapier, Boomi, or similar platforms.

· Basic understanding of project management systems (Wrike preferred, but not required).

· Working knowledge of APIs, JSON, data mapping, and system-to-system data flows.

· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to debug integration failures and identify root cause.

· Effective written and verbal communication skills, able to document solutions and communicate with stakeholders clearly.

· Experience in SaaS / technology environments preferred but not required.

· Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and working in cross-functional team environments.

· Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and grow into deeper platform expertise over time.
